As first reported by Gematsu, Deemo II is now available for pre-register on Google Play. The game was originally announced last December without any details on what platforms it would arrive on. Obviously, this confirms Android but we're still unsure about iOS, though the original did launch on both. There's also no solid release date either but we'll be sure to keep you updated.

Alongside the announcement, Rayark Games has also released a concept video for the game, which can be seen below. Whilst that does mean we don't get to see any new gameplay for Deemo II it's definitely worth watching cos it looks and sounds incredibly beautiful, much like the original teaser.

The description below the concept video tells us a little about the story of Deemo II. A young girl who is growing flowers on her head meets up with Deemo and the two of them embark on a journey to search for a fantasy kingdom that might be able to save the world from the endless pouring rain.

Developing duties for Deemo II will be handled by JetGen, who started working with Rayark Inc back in 2017 where they began developing Deemo Reborn. It was eventually released for PlayStation 4 in 2019 and was a remake of the original game but in 3D and with PlayStation VR compatibility.

If you're unfamiliar with the original Deemo, it was a rhythm-action game with a focus on piano-based music. Matt Thrower reviewed the game for us when it launched back in 2013 where he found it to be fairly simplistic but incredibly stylish in everything that it does.

Deemo II is now available for pre-register over on Google Play. In the meantime, you can try the original on both iOS and Android now.
