Wanderlust: Transsiberian is a narrative-driven adventure game that's available now for iOS and Android

Developers Walkabout Games initially released Wanderlust: Travel Stories last September for iOS when we first learned that some of their team included folks who'd previously worked on CD Projekt Red's The Witcher. Now they are back with a shorter experience called Wanderlust: Transsiberian.

The game is available now for both iOS and Android, making Wanderlust: Transsiberian the debut title for Walkabout Games on the latter platform. The game sees players embarking on an interactive, narrative adventure where they'll board the Trans-Siberian train in Vladivostok and travel all the way to Moscow.

It's intended to be an hour-long experience and is, therefore, cheaper than its predecessor as a result. That makes it a good jumping-on point to the series then if you were intrigued by Wanderlust: Travel Stories but weren't sure if you wanted to part with $5.99 to buy it.

Wanderlust: Transsiberian follows the journey of two men who board the Trans-Siberian railway and the experience they have along the way. Much like its predecessor, throughout your journey, you'll meet several other characters and make various decisions as you speak with them that will impact the story.

There are some light management aspects to the game as well, you will have to balance your money, stress and fatigue levels throughout and this can also alter the events of the narrative. Throughout the one-hour experience, players will visit everything from quiet roads in Siberia to more busy parts of Moscow.

It's more intended to be an interactive story than a management game, however. So most of your time will be spent reading and looking at beautiful photos of the Siberian landscape.

Wanderlust: Transsiberian is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a premium title that costs $1.99.
