Pokemon Masters begins a new login rally as DeNA announce upcoming events to net players more Sync Orbs and Lucky Cookies

As the previous log-in rally comes to an end another has swiftly taken its place. This time around players will be able to get some Gems and 3-Star Level-Up Manuals over a fortnight. DeNA has also detailed two upcoming campaigns that are aimed at providing players with more co-op Sync Orbs and Lucky Cookies.

We'll start with the log-in bonus. It will run from today until 25th April and if players log in for 14 days during that time they'll net themselves a grand total of 3000 Gems and 360 3-Star Level-Up Manuals. In terms of Gems that enough to pull 10 Sync Pairs from the Sync Pair Scout.

But what do you get with 360 3-Star Level-Up Manuals? Well, I've done some testing to find out, since I farmed a nonsensical amount of level-up manuals during the Lurking Shadow event. It takes 169 of the 3-Star variant to level a 4/5 Star Sync Pair to the maximum level. Meanwhile, a 3-Star Sync Pair takes 122, unless you increase its potential to be a 4-Star pair, then it's also 169.

So that means you could take either two 4/5 Star or almost three, 3-Star pairs to max level. Naturally, that's based on them being level 1 so it will be slightly less if you've already levelled them up. Though it won't be by much because it still takes 158 manuals to get to 120 from level 71, for example.

You'll also need the right training items to unlock their level caps. Whilst The Beast that Devours the Sun is still running it's a good chance to accumulate a good stockpile of those pesky Gym Leader and Elite Four Notes because they're available in the exchange items shop with no limit on how many you can get, beyond the natural holding capacity.

Beyond this Rally, there are two upcoming campaigns with the first giving players more co-op sync orbs, 10,000 of them in total. The second will give players an opportunity to earn harder to obtain items such as Lucky Cookies. This campaign will allow players to challenge something once per day with details on both expected to be announced soon.

Pokemon Masters is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
