Sky: Children of the Light by thatgamecompany has finally been unleashed on Android devices after starting off as an iOS exclusive. Android gamers will be in for a treat, with Sky being Apple's 2019 Game of the Year and winning the Pocket Gamer People's Choice award at the Mobile Games Awards

If you ever played Journey, which is widely regarded as one of the greatest video games of all-time (and my personal favourite), then you'll get familiar vibes from Sky. You'll be able to explore and fly freely while you uncover the mysteries of its stunning world.

The main goal is to send stars back home to their constellations as you go through the kingdom. You can take your time and enjoy what is not only a fun game but a relaxing one, too.

There are seven realms for you to explore, so there should be plenty of areas to keep you busy. On top of that, these areas are pretty large, adding to the intrigue when hunting down clues and solving its challenges.

You can save spirits when out and about while also discovering some hidden treasures. You just never know what you may uncover in the world of Sky.

And there is a pleasant multiplayer experience that plays a huge role in the experience. You'll be able to connect with friends, family, or anyone else around the world.

Of course, if you feel like just soaking the experience in solo, you're more than welcome to play that way. It's a great way to clear your mind and relax.

One of the great things about Sky is that it stays fresh, with new updates dropping on the regular. Replay value is always important, and with thatgamecompany's frequent content drops, it's like a fresh pie every time.

Oh, and did I mention that there's emotes? Yup, that's right, you can go ahead and express that personality of yours while flying in style.

Sky: Children of the Light is available for free on the App Store and Google Play. It's heading to Nintendo Switch later this year.
