Sports Story, a sequel to the acclaimed pixel art indie Golf Story, comes to Switch next year

Golf Story was easily among the most acclaimed games of 2017. Now, we've learned that a sequel named Sports Story is headed to Nintendo Switch next year. The announcement arrived during today's Nintendo Indie World show. 

Visually, it looks very similar to its predecessor, though you won't just be playing golf in the sequel, no sir. It looks like you'll have the chance to play some baseball and tennis, expanding on the first game's action in some neat ways.

Ex-Ed Ric reviewed Golf Story when it first launched back in 2017, saying it's "charming, witty, funny, adorable, entertaining, and a must-have for your Switch collection". 

Just like the original game, Sports Story will launch exclusively for Nintendo Switch. Look for it next year.
