The House of Da Vinci 2, Blue Brain Games' long-awaited, mysterious puzzler, launches for iOS on December 4th

Blue Brain Games' long-awaited puzzler, The House of Da Vinci 2, finally has a firm release date. It'll launch first for iOS on December 4th, with other platforms set to follow.

The original game was heavily inspired by Fireproof Games' 'The Room'. It was a visually impressive, atmospheric, and polished title, which we called "a cracking puzzler" when we reviewed it back in 2017. Our App Army had some light complaints when it came to its controls, with some suggesting they felt a tad fiddly.

The sequel picks up where the first game left off, throwing you into the shoes of Leonardo da Vinci's apprentice, Giacomo. The intriguing narrative is drip-fed to you through interactions with the game's eclectic and fully-voiced cast.

The House of Da Vinci 2 is said to contain hundreds of detailed objects to tinker with and many tricky puzzles to solve. One of the highlights of the first game was its rich atmosphere and believable recreation of renaissance Italy. Some of the issues mentioned by the App Army, specifically the controls, have been addressed for part 2, and it'll be nice to (hopefully) get some closure on the first game's mysterious yarn.
