Mysterious adventure game The House of Da Vinci 2 sneaks onto Android

Blue Brain Games' The House of Da Vinci 2 has finally snuck its way onto Google Play after launching for iOS late last year. It tells the tale of Giacomo, apprentice to the one and only Leonarda da Vinci. Your master has only gone and disappeared, so off you go on a time-travelling adventure to discover his whereabouts.
The story picks up right after the first game's cliffhanger ending, thrusting you into Giacomo's shoes and tasking you with solving a series of increasingly tricky puzzles. The first game proved to be very popular among adventure game fans, though our own App Army was a little more mixed on it than you might expect, with some finding its controls to be fiddly.
Thankfully, these issues are apparently addressed in the sequel, with the control scheme having been redesigned to be more intuitive and mobile-friendly.
The story this time around is fully voice acted, hopefully delivering a more immersive narrative experience. There are said to be hundreds of painstakingly detailed items to play around with and utilise during your quest. You'll spend your time exploring renaissance Italy and solving its many varied puzzles.
The original game boasted a fairly compelling atmosphere, with plenty of mystery to spare. I actually missed the sequel when it launched back in December, so I can't say whether or not it lives up to its The Room-inspired predecessor.
