A new, console-quality Dynasty Warriors game for mobile has opened for pre-registration in China
No word on a global launch
Gameplay of a new Dynasty Warriors game for mobile has surfaced on Twitter. The news was first shared by Industry Analyst, Daniel Ahmad. Pre-registrations have now opened over in China, but there's currently no word on whether it'll launch globally at a later date.
According to Ahmad, the game is being developed by Koei Tecmo's mobile studio. It sounds fairly ambitious, aiming to be a console-quality title in terms of its gameplay and visual presentation.
You can expect a standard Dynasty Warriors experience, with huge battles, a traditional Musou combo system, basic RPG mechanics, and the ability to play as every general from the previous entries.A new Dynasty Warriors mobile game is in development for the China market, developed by Koei Tecmo's mobile studio. Ahmad also mentions that the game will include custom story modes and city construction of some kind. Based on the small amount of gameplay we have to go on, this one looks pretty neat. I have no doubt it'll make its way westward at some point.
