Elder Scrolls: Blades is now available for all iOS & Android users

After a month in closed beta Bethesda's Elder Scrolls: Blades has released to the public. The dungeon-crawling, town-building RPG is now available for all iOS and Android users..

Elder Scrolls: Blades, for the unaware, is a first-person dungeoneering exercise built on the mechanics of the popular Elder Scrolls series. As the story goes, a town is destroyed and the rebuilding project begins, however this requires resources. Here's where you come in, diving into dungeons and fighting a variety of enemies, you go from protecting the town to supplying it with the resources you need to see it grow and thrive.

If you've not been one of the lucky few who have made it through the early access queue to have a go with Bethesda's latest mobile effort then now is your time. Even better, you don't need a Bethesda account to get playing now either — something that you previously needed to get into the beta.

While the game is now available for all it remains in early access. This should give Bethesda some extra time to work on the micro-transactions and also to sort out the balance behind waiting for chests to unlock — both of these issues which have received widespread feedback.

Just as a quick heads up, the download file is quite small, however that's because the app then manages the downloads and patches itself. So make sure you boot up the app before you head out on your commute.

Future plans for Blades also include adding in an 'arena mode' which will allow you to face off against friends and strangers in one-vs-one duels. There's no word on the release window for that update at the moment however.

Find it on the Play Store and the App Store.
