[Update] Rome: Total War marches onto iPad, available now

Updated on November 9th, at 11:00PM: The classic PC real-time strategy game is now out on iPad. Forget the hex-based maps of Total War Battles; Rome: Total War brings the sprawling 3D battlefields and massive armies to mobile, as you drag and tap to command units and achieve victory across Italy.
Rome: Total War costs £7.99 / $9.99 for iPad.

Well here's some exciting news if you're a fan of epic strategy scrapping and helmets with big plumes on them. Rome: Total War will be hitting the App Store this Thursday, November 10th.

We've been waiting a while for this one, and it's fair to say that it’s been a pretty exciting wait. Rome: Total War is, after all, one of the best RTS games of the past couple of decades, combining scope and finesse in ways other games can only dream of.

The game will be available for iPad only, and you'll need a first gen iPad Air, a second gen iPad mini, or any iPad Pro to play it. You’ll also need at least 4GB of free size to get it installed.
