An All-Star Cast
You initially play as Rey and her rolling droid companion BB8 as they make their way through key locations and events from the movie. But there are dozens of other memorable characters to unlock along your journey in LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This enables you to play through levels more than once using different characters to discover entirely new areas and secrets. Finn, Poe Dameron, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Kylo Ren, General Hux and Captain Phasma among many, many others are all featured in the game.
Pilot the Millennium Falcon
It’s every Star Wars fan’s dream to have a go at piloting Han Solo’s iconic Millennium Falcon and in LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens you get to do just that. Some sections featuring the ship are on rails but you also get to take part in a huge arena style battle against TIE Fighters. You can either attempt this alone both piloting and shooting at the same time, or two gamers can take on the flying and shooting roles separately in co-op.
Features New to the LEGO Series
LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens boasts a variety of gameplay enhancements and features new to the LEGO adventure game series. One of the biggest new gameplay elements is its multi-build system, which allows players to dismantle and rebuild structures in order to put them to different uses and open up new paths. On the combat side, the ability to use scenery as cover enables players to engage in ranged blaster battles. There are even new story-driven segments that fill in some of the gaps between the events of Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens.
