Google I/O 2016: Try apps without downloading them with Android Instant Apps
|

Want to try an app but don't want to download it on your rapidly dwindling mobile data? Well, soon you can with Android Instant Apps.

This feature is set to launch later this year, and its quite smart in its execution.

Rather than download the whole app, it only installs the parts of them that you need to perform the task you're attempting. So if you want to check out how much something costs on Amazon without the app, Google will just grab that page instead.

Apparently it doesn't take much work from the developer side to get it all up and running either, so you can expect to see it roll out across the board when the feature launches later this year.
