One of the oldest free to play social games is coming to Android this week. Habbo Hotel - which was doing this virtual goods stuff 15 years ago - will hit Google Play tomorrow.
Like its iOS counterpart that launched last year, the game lets you dress up pixel art characters and build isometric hotel rooms. You can chat (or role play, if that's your bag) with other players and explore an enormous user-made world.
Habbo, which is intended for teenagers, has had its share of controversy over the years - including investigations that found users posting pornographic and violent messages. Finnish owner Sulake now promises 24/7 live moderation of the chat.
For the Android version, the developer says you'll need a selected high-end device and an Internet connection to play. Plus, "some features are not fully supported, but they will be coming soon".
