Acclaimed PS4 shooter Resogun confirmed for a Vita release
Looks pretty
Housemarque has confirmed on Twitter that its PS4 arcade shooter Resogun will be heading to PlayStation Vita.
The Vita version is being handled by Climax Studios. That's the same studio that brought Housemarque's Bronze Award-winning Dead Nation to Vita.
Resogun was released on PS4 last year and was widely praised for its looks and focus on arcade action.
In it, you fly a ship around a voxel-based world in cylindrical arenas. To complete each level you have to eliminate all of the enemies.
However, you can get a higher score by rescuing humans. To do this you need to kill their keepers to release them from their chamber. Then you need to carry them to a safety point to get the points.
We're awaiting more details to be released by Sony about the Vita version of Resogun. Among those details should hopefully be a release date.
