Hit PC horror game Five Nights At Freddy's is now terrifying Android players

Five Nights At Freddy's is the latest indie horror game to have terrified thousands of PC players, and now it's available on Android.

We thought the Android version might have been a bootlegged copy at first. However, upon contacting developer Scott Hawthorn, we were told "It's the real game, just a simplified version!"

Five Nights At Freddy's has you playing as a nighttime security guard at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. You have to try to survive for five days to get your lousy pay cheque.

That's not made easy as the animatronic animals that entertain children during the day will try to kill you during the night. Oh dear.

Stuck inside your office, you have to look through the security cameras spread around the building to keep an eye on the Freddy and his friends.

If you take your eyes off them then they'll get up and head towards you. Luckily, if they do get close and you spot them in time, then you can just close the security doors to stay safe.

But it's not that easy, either. Your employer is trying to save money and has granted you a limited amount of electricity use in the building.

Looking through the cameras, turning on lights, and closing the security doors all uses electricity. If you run out you're left to the mercy of the animatronic killers.

Five Nights At Freddy's is a simple game to play but fraught with tension. If you're not careful, you'll be victim to a number of jump scares, too.

You can purchase Five Nights At Freddy's for £1.81 / $2.99 on Google Play right now.
