Get ready for more hunger games with They Need To Be Fed 2
Out at midnight tonight
Gravity-based platforming sequel They Need To Be Fed 2 will be leaping onto Android and iOS app stores the world over at midnight this evening.
Following on from franchise creator Jesse Venbrux's quirky original, They Need To Be Fed 2 will be set in the same colourful 2D world as its predecessor.
In this world, all objects generate their own powerful gravitational field. This means your character can leap from one geometric object to the next, and will find himself immediately glued to the object's surface.
As in the first They Need To Be Fed game, your mission in this sequel is to collect diamonds. You must then shovel these delicious crystals into the gaping maw of a hungry monster at the end of each level.
Throughout the game's 100 levels, you'll have to avoid hazards old and new (including smashing blocks); homing missiles; and laser turrets.
We thoroughly enjoyed They Need To Be Fed, describing it as "a great example of the innovation bubbling up from indie games".
