Develop in Brighton's Indie Showcase opens for submissions
Get your game noticed
Running as part of Develop's annual trip down to Brighton, submissions are now open to snap up a spot at the event's Indie Showcase this July.
The showcase is, in the organiser's words, designed to "celebrate the very best of indie game development" by pushing forward the ten best entries, as chosen by a panel of experts led by Assyria Games’ Adam Green.
Three for allLast year saw three mobile games make it into the final ten, including cross-platform MMO The Missing Ink by RedBedlam, Digital Tentacle's Captain Cat for iOS, and multitplatform release Great Big War Game by Rubicon Development.
All ten finalists receive two free Indie Dev Day conference passes, up to five full expo passes, and pre-event publicity including a profile on the event website.
Great Big War Game
"I'm delighted The Indie Showcase is back for a third year. Last year we saw the number of submissions double and I have high hopes there will be even more amazing games submitted this year. I can't wait to check them all out," said Assyria Games MD Adam Green.
"The showcase remains an excellent opportunity for indies to get their games thrust into the limelight at the Develop in Brighton Conference and put in front of publishers, the press and over 1,500 delegates."
Developers looking to enter should submit their game via the Develop conference website before 13 May. Develop in Brighton itself will run between 9-11 July.
