Screenshots of an upcoming pixel-art "endless action-RPG" for the iPhone and iPad have just been posted on the Touch Arcade forums by a representative of publisher FDG Entertainment.

We're telling you this because the game (which is called Slayin, by the way) looks pretty good. In fact, it looks fantastic.

We don't have any specific gameplay details just yet, but it looks like Slayin will feature multiple character classes, which will all boast unique skills or abilities.

It also looks like you'll have to collect gold coins and strange orb-like objects from slain enemies, and pick up treasure chests throughout your journey.

We don't know for sure, but we'd wager that you'll spend these valuable commodities on newer and more powerful weapons and equipment.

Slice and dice

FDG Entertainment is, of course, responsible for the likes of Beyond Ynth, Cover Orange, and the recently released Banana Kong.

So, we have high hopes for this forthcoming title, which will be available to download from the App Store on April 4th.

We'll probably have some more details and possibly a trailer for you before then, though, so keep your eyes fixed on Pocket Gamer for those.
