Apple sends invites for October 23 media event - iPad mini unveiling likely
24 models to choose from?
Apple has sent out invitations to a press event on October 23rd, which seems like a fitting time for it to address the persistent rumours about the iPad Mini.
Of course, as per usual, Apple hasn't said anything about what the event will entail.
Lots of little?On the same day that the invitations went out, 9to5mac identified 24 new product SKUs that could hint at 24 models of the new smaller tablet.
Other rumours suggest that Apple is poised to unveil a new iMac and a teardrop-shaped 13-inch MacBook Pro with retina display. It is also likely that iTunes 11 will become available for download following the completion of the press event.
