Following on from the release of the PlayBook 2.0 OS, RIM's seeing more support from game developers and publishers.

The result of its industry-push that started in 2011, improvements in terms of presentation and discovery on the BlackBerry App World store are making the platform a better place to distribute content.

Free to play

Still, the arrival of 2 free games from Gameloft - Modern Combat 2 and Asphalt 6 (so not the most recent) - suggests RIM is also prepared to dip into its wallet for content.

PlayBook launched in April 2011 with two free games from EA Mobile pre-loaded - Need for Speed and Tetris.
