Angry Birds developer Rovio is constantly expanding its feather-flinging franchise through new games and fresh merchandise.

The Finnish developer is even purported to have "brainstormed" ideas for a future partnership with hip-hop superstar Kanye West.

In a recent interview with website IndustryGamers, legendary Kiss bassist Gene Simmons revealed that his band is currently "talking" over a deal with Rovio.

"Hello Kitty is one of the biggest brands on planet Earth. Now there's KISS Hello Kitty, which we've already launched in 90 countries," Simmons said.

"We're talking with Angry Birds, KISS and Angry Birds, which will become a deal."

For those about to fly

Unfortunately, Simmons didn't reveal what said "deal" will entail.

Maybe, you'll be able to listen to 'Rock and Roll All Nite' as you catapult miffed birdies towards stacks of guitars and disgruntled rock fans. Who knows?

Late last month, Angry Birds boss Mikael Hed revealed that his company is currently in talks with several record labels in order to ink a deal that would see the parties cross-promote content. It could be related.
