Apple updates Apple Store iPhone app with EasyPay, order tracking, and Personal Pickup
Never been easier to buy an iPhone 4S
Apple has just updated its Apple Store iPhone app to essentially make it even easier for you to order and pick up lots of its shiny products, including, of course, the iPhone 4S and iPad 2.
First off, the new Personal Pickup feature allows you to buy an item from within the app and elect to collect your order from the nearest Apple Retail Store, rather than wait for the postman to deliver it.
For those of you who prefer to avoid contact with another human being, meanwhile, EasyPay encourages you to purchase select accessories in store (excluding the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S, for example) and complete the transaction yourself by scanning the barcode.
Unfortunately for we UK punters, EasyPay is only available in the US.
One more thing... Via the free Apple Store app, you can now track your purchase from the Order Status section in the More tab.
