Although Nintendo has been busy announcing, unveiling, and detailing new games and peripherals at a pre-TGS conference, it found the time to issue a press release stating that 3D video recording is headed to the 3DS via a system update.

Unfortunately, the details end there, meaning there's no information on recording length, editing functionality, and viewing possibilities, for starters.

The 3DS system update, which is set to drop this November, will also usher in some 'new experiences' for those of you who have mastered the 3DS's in-built StreetPass games.

You'll have to wait until a later date to find out what these 'new experiences' are, though.
