ODenis comes to iPhone with characteristically colourful penguin trick surfing game Rising Board

French studio ODenis has always been a solid supporter of Nintendo, most recently being one of the few developers of original content for its DSiWare store with games such as Glory Days TD and Pop Island.

Now however it's finally made its iOS debut with Rising Board; a wakeboard game that's set within the very blocky, very colourful, action arcadey Pop Island world.

The game itself has you tilting your iPhone or iPod touch to move your penguin surfer left and right within the 2.5 environment, collecting sun points as you go. You tap the screen to launch yourself into the air, performing tricks within on-screen gestures.

You get three runs per go, and the better you do, the more inhabitants of Pop Island will come out to cheer you on.

Rising Board is out now for iPhone and iPod touch, priced 99c, €0.79 or 59p.
