|

According to reports from Pocket-Lint, the PlayStation Phone will be officially revealed in February before launching in the UK in April.

Many had speculated that next month's CES event would play host to the first sighting of the Android-powered handheld. This latest rumour suggests that the honour will go to Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

A source close to Pocket-Lint has apparently revealed, “Sony Ericsson is going big on this one, but although it will get a Feb launch, it won’t be in the shops until April”.

Allegedly named the Sony Ericsson Z1, the device is rumoured to feature a 1GHz processor, dedicated gaming controls, and touch capabilities.

This feature set is based on a number of previous leaks. Final specifications are yet to be confirmed.
