Ace Combat Xi on iPhone updated with three new aircraft

There you are, gliding through the sky in the seat of a top-of-the-range military jet, blasting bad guys using your Vulcan and Stingers, when malaise washes over you.

Same jets, same routine, day after day.

Thankfully, Namco has decided to forestall this common complaint by adding a few new planes to its top arcade shooting game with a nonsensical tagline, Ace Combat Xi: Skies of Incursion.

Along with bug fixes, version 1.12 now comes with two licensed Lockheed Martin stealth fighters – the F22 and F-35 – as well as the company’s iconic stealth bomber, the F-117A.

Ace Combat Xi: Skies of Incursion is available on the App Store for £2.99 / $4.99 / €3.99.
