E3 2010: Animal Crossing confirmed for 3DS
Screenshots show a leaner character set
Nintendo has confirmed that it is bringing its little world full of strange critters to the 3DS.
Animal Crossing first appeared on the GameCube, with a Nintendo DS version later proving very popular.
Animal Crossing 3DS looks to follow the same formula, but with slightly altered graphics. Characters now look less squashed, with larger bodies and small heads.
In other words, they don't look utterly ridiculous any more. Just slightly ridiculous.
From the look of the screenshots, the whole world looks a little crisper, too. Don't be surprised if you end up spending your days paying off a house by doing silly tasks.
