We at Pocket Gamer are partial to a freebie (and not necessarily just on Fridays). But then, who isn't?

Well, those generous devils over at Sony are about to reward recent adopters of their PSPgo with some free gifts of their own.

Any gamer who registered his digital-only PSPgo after April 1st 2010 will be entitled to ten full game downloads some time in June.

And if you thought the catalogue available would be either (a) paltry or (b) ancient, you'd be hideously wrong on both counts.

Big hitters like Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, 2010 FIFA World Cup, LittleBigPlanet, and Gran Turismo will all be part of Sonys promotion next month.

Were using it (the offer) as a method to drive the hardware as well by making the whole proposition much more appealing, says SCE's UK sales director, Mark Howsen.

This announcement follows on from the unveiling of Sonys PSP Essentials a couple of weeks ago, effectively cutting the prices of listed PSP classics to 9.99.
