E3 2009: Women's Murder Club books coming to DS

Cammy Dunaway obviously likes her airport reading material, as she was pretty excited on stage at E3 to announce that an adventure game adaptation of prolific novelist James Patterson's Women's Murder Club is coming to the DS.

Women's Murder Club: Games of Passion (ouch) looks like something of an interactive novel, casting you as one of three super-sleuth women on the prowl to solve a case... of murder!

To be fair, the presentation looked pretty good; turning the DS on its side into a portrait orientation, which helps immensely in carrying off the interactive novel motif.

It also packs in quite a few mini-games, and is clearly aimed at the more mature female gamer. Nintendo might make its mistakes, but there's no denying it tries to cater for everyone.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
