As we were hoping, today’s Iwata GDC keynote contains a few crumbs about DSiWare. Well, we weren’t hoping for crumbs, but you know what I mean.

The first title on show today is Moving Memo, in which you can create and share animations. The animation created on stage by Treehouse was apparently rather unimpressive, but there were some better ones on video.

The second title was the more intriguing WarioWare Snaps, a camera-based mini-game collection that shows footage of you playing after you’ve played. We’re trying to work out what might be good about this, but nothing jumps out.

Still, the DS itself was a queer technology to sell in its first few months. Nobody could really understand what was so great about a portable console with two screens till it had been around for a while, so maybe this’ll be the same.
