‘Who doesn't like shooting zombies and chavs?’
Who indeed.
Over at our sister site, PocketGamer.biz, Jon Jordan’s been chewing the undead, Burberry-clad fat with CobraMobile’s Mark Ettle.
Zombie Chav Hunt is, according to Ettle, part of the company’s satirically ‘snack gaming’ range - budget priced casual titles intended to spark a bit of easily digested fun in and amongst more serious iPhoning.
“We have a whole series of snack games coming out this year. Some are really crazy ideas ... and some are ideas that just play well on the iPhone. The point is all these games will retain the same overall attention to detail and quality,” Ettle explains.
Not that the title’s at all cryptic, but the game involves the simple elimination of infected Chavs and Chavettes. A simple touchscreen game, the purpose is clearly to provide a bit of wry, light escapism as affordably as possible.
“Everyone loves shooting zombies, but zombie chavs? Now that's funny and socially incorrect. And if you listen to the game's audio, you'll get a feel for our sense of humour,” laughs Ettle.
