Paid apps for Android coming a lot sooner than you might think

Those crazy genius types at Google are suckers for a new year’s resolution, which is very good news for all us Android-owning folk.
Google has not only confirmed its plans for permitting chargeable apps onto the Android Market, but it's indicated that such a move is imminent.
It appears that priced applications will be made available in the UK and US from January which, for all you deliriously hungover types, we’re in now. Now go back to bed and sleep it off.
Our European chums in Germany, Austria and Netherlands will receive chargeable apps shortly after us, followed by France, Italy and Spain near the end of the first quarter. Apparently, setting up payment support on a country by country basis is a bit tricky.
