CobraMobile launches own casual gaming site

It's PC-based at the moment, but mobile could follow

Scottish game developer, CobraMobile, has launched a new casual gaming website called CobiMobi.

However, despite the publisher's name, its first two games are PC downloads. Cobi Treasure Deluxe is a colourful arcade-puzzler, while Numba is a number-based puzzler (as you might have guessed from its title).

Both are available as free trial versions, which can be downloaded to a PC and played for free for 45 minutes, before then having the option to pay £11.95 for the full monty.

So what's the mobile angle? Well, apparently Numba is an example of the developer's new 'omni-platform' approach, which involves creating own-brand games that'll work across PC, mobile and other gaming platforms.

The theory, presumably, is to build an audience for the PC versions, then release mobile games based on them, too. We'll keep you posted on any plans for Numba or any other of CobraMobile's creations title to come to mobile.
