Over the years, we've come to wonder how much Nintendo knows about the release plans of the various DS publishers.

Certainly, some of the dates on its latest list of 36 upcoming games are less specific than the information we've been given; notably in the case of ANNO 1701: Dawn of Discovery (August 28th, we're lead to believe), Transformers (July 20th), and The Settlers (July 27th).

It has also thrown up anomalies in terms of games such as Guilty Gear Dust Strikers, which we'd assumed was about to be released almost a year ago (September 2006) – and it wasn't much good then.

Still, if the likes of Heroes of Mana, Sonic Rush Adventure, Jam Sessions, Panzer Tactics and Operation Vietnam are out before the turning of September into October, we'll be more than happy.
