I-play banks on more than pot luck with 3D Pool 3: High Roller

Your cue for some more pocket action

I-play banks on more than pot luck with 3D Pool 3: High Roller

A whopping 1.5 million people can't be wrong! Except in the case of Westlife record buyers, obviously. But surely not when it comes to 3D mobile pool games?

Anyway, I-play's 3D Pool series has so far sold almost 1.5 million downloads, which bodes well for the third installment, 3D Pool: High Roller.

Two versions are being released: one for basic handsets, and one for more whizzy 3D-capable ones.

Trick shots play a larger role in the game this time round, as well as a range of table designs – yes, tables that go beyond the regular rectangular models.

The game is set across a range of high-class locations, including Chicago bars, a New Orleans riverboat (well, the pool joints might still be waterlogged we guess), and a Las Vegas penthouse.

You have to win as much cash as possible, which lets you enter more prestigious tournaments and upgrade your trusty equipment. There's also the chance to wager cash on tempting trick-shots for an extra buzz. Stay tuned for our review.
