Skeleton armies, eh? You wouldn't want to meet one down a dark alleyway. Although by definition, if they could fit into an alleyway, it'd be more of a platoon. But anyway...

Army of Heroes is a new action-puzzle game that puts you in charge of a disparate force of humans, orcs and elves, battling against a bony army of skeleton warriors.

But hang on, every fantasy nerd knows that humans, orcs and elves don't get on? Well, that's true, and it actually affects the gameplay, in that you're not allowed to let separate units meet, for fear of 'friendly' hacking and slashing.

So, the game revolves around directing your units to coloured teleporters in order to fight the skeletons. Expect 40 levels spread across three scenery-types (forest, snow and lava).

Army of Heroes certainly sounds like a different take on traditional puzzle games, so we're looking forward to seeing how it shapes up.
