Rovio and Hasbro have teamed up to launch an Angry Birds Transformers game on mobile later this year. Yep, Autobirds and Deceptihogs are now real things.

No details have been disclosed about the game as yet. But, presumably, it's going to be a physics-based puzzler like most other Angry Birds games.

Rovio has confirmed, though, that Angry Birds Transformers will be following in the flight path of previous Rovio and Hasbro partnerships such as Angry Birds Star Wars and Angry Birds Go!

As such, Hasbro has produced a new line of Telepod toys based on Angry Birds Transformers that will be released later this year. These will enable you to 'teleport' characters directly into the game.

We're expecting more details on Angry Birds Transformers in the following weeks. You can keep up with the announcements on the game's official website.
