Ahead of the Game - Blast Survivor is roguelike action with idle rewards and a shrinking arena
It's always mutants, isn't it

- Survive the apocalypse by blasting through endless foes
- Upgrade your gear with roguelike perks and come back stronger
- AFK rewards come in handy too
Hello and welcome to Ahead of the Game, a series where we tell you all about an upcoming game that, despite not being out yet, is available for you to play at the time of publishing. Through this series, you can grab a chance to play games well ahead of their release date, be that through Soft Launch, Open Beta, Demos, or more.
There's no shortage of post-apocalyptic adventures on mobile, but despite all the doom and gloom, we just can't get enough of them, can we? As the title suggests, Blast Survivor will have you doing exactly that - you'll fight to survive a cataclysmic blast that's somehow wiped out most of humanity, leaving only radioactive abominations in its wake.
Even the most non-confrontational species will no doubt fight until their last breath in the face of extinction, so what else can we expect from the ever-resilient human race?

As it says on the tin, you'll aim to survive the aftermath of the blast by equipping yourself with all manner of weapons against creatures of the endless wasteland. They're all headed your way for some reason, and it's all a matter of whether or not you're persistent enough to survive.
The mutants may seem unstoppable, but that's the beauty of roguelikes, isn't it? You get to rinse and repeat and come back stronger with new perks and upgraded gear, with some AFK rewards thrown into the mix too.
The battlefield gets smaller and smaller as time goes on, by the way, so if you can manage to survive within the given time limit - or eliminate all the foes and the big bosses before then - you'll be rewarded handsomely for all your valiant efforts.

Blast Survivor doesn't reinvent the wheel here, but it does offer quick sessions as opposed to other bullet hell roguelikes that might take forever before you can call it a day. Surviving the apocalypse can be pretty tiring, after all.
