Aether Gazer an upcoming sci-fi ARPG set in a dystopian future, is releasing this year on mobile
Yostar Games, the team behind Azur Lane and Arknights, has just announced a new anime-themed action RPG for mobile called Aether Gazer. The game is set in a sci-fi dystopian world which is expected to hit Android and iOS in Q4 2022 in North America, Europe, and SEA. It promises to feature an immersive and bold story, which will be visually stunning with high-fidelity 3D graphics.
To story goes somewhat like this – humanity was nearing its end and the smartest people in the world were trying to come up with a plan to ensure that at least their consciousness survives. This was done by uploading all consciousnesses onto Gaea.Zero, a supercomputer that floats in space. This metaverse was to be identical to the old world with Gaea making calculations itself to chart a path for the future.
Within this world, Gaea is divided into various districts each with different beliefs and ways of functioning. The Sasanami District survives on fishing and agriculture rather than technology, and they pray to the God of Heaven and the five Mountain Gods who they fear. Neuhansa, on the other hand, is an advanced industrial zone which houses Spealght Industries, an AGI Mecha company, the biggest of its kind. They don’t seem to be showing the world their plans though, which rumours about them creating an AGI Mecha legion in secret.
Division Nine is restricted to the general public with its offices located at the top of Aether Gazer Building. It is led by Supervisor Odin. Gaea’s most fertile zone is Ain Soph, comprising immigrants from all over who form the backbone of this world.
On the gameplay side of things, players will be creating squads of three and moving into battle, where they’ll control one hero with the other two being AI-controlled. Combat will favour both casual as well as hardcore gamers and the eye candy of the moves will be there for everyone to witness. Something is brewing in this metaverse, and only you can stop chaos from spreading.Until then, check out this list of the best ARPGs to play on mobile!
