It's been a long time coming, but the iOS version of Silver Award-winning DS classic 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors has finally landed on the App Store.

So, yes, you can expect a twisted AND twisty tale of capture, boats, and bombs in this new iOS game.

As you might expect from its name, 999: The Novel strips the original game of its puzzles but leaves intact the story of nine people stranded on a boat and turned into walking bombs.

What's left is a pure interactive story that sees you making a variety of choices as you try and figure out who's kidnapped you, why they want to blow up a boat, and how you're going to get out alive.

If that sounds like it might be your cup of tea, then head on over to the App Store and grab 999: The Novel for £2.99 / $4.99 [buy] or 999: The Novel HD for the same price [buy].
