505 Games announces Spellbound, Maths Made Simple and Blended for DS
Puzzle games aplenty
505 Games is gearing up for a trio of DS releases aimed at taxing the neurons of the pocket gaming public.
The three games are targeted at people looking for a bit of extra 'intellectual simulation' from their games, along with students returning to school who're interested in using their DS to test maths and analytical skills.
Spellbound tests language skills with more than 25,000 different words to spell and 100 difficulty levels. For a bit of an extra challenge you can also choose from five different languages to test your spelling abilities.
Maths Made Simple is based on a book by Japanese professor Susumu Sakurai. Through a range of exercises, you'll learn Professor Sakurai's revolutionary method for breaking down mathematical problems into simple steps. There are 17 different techniques to learn and each supposedly has practical applications in everyday life.
Last up is Blended; a Bejeweled clone which also involves mixing colours together to create new ones. You've got to be careful to use the correct colours, however, or you'll create a grey splodge that can't be mixed.
Spellbound is released on September 5th, Maths Made Simple is heading your way on October 3rd and Blended completes the set on November 7th.
