Harking back to good old days of turn-based dungeon battlers, 100 Rogues throws randomly generated maps at you, all filled with various nasties to kill and treasures to steal.

Available now for iPhone, 100 Rogues is unique in that character progression is not a key factor. Whereas your usual hack 'n' slash fantasy game relies heavily on stat-building, this game has more single session style gameplay.

It's not about whether you can beat the game or not - rather, you're looking to see how far you can get in a single playthrough.

Along the way special weapons and power-ups can be collected for dealing with the stronger monsters further into the dungeon. No two games are the same, as the layout is always completely different for each play.

Developer Dinofarm Games plan on bulking the game up with more classes, more worlds and more items in later updates.

Check out the 'How to Play' video below for everything you need to know.

100 Rogues is now available from the App Store for £2.99, €3.99, $4.99.
