League of Legends: Wild Rift unveils patch 6.2 with Soulforce Awakening theme

League of Legends: Wild Rift is offering fans a bit of a midweek boost with the debut of patch 6.2 and a new theme, Soulforce Awakening. With new champions, reworks, and item updates, it's the perfect time to jump in and give Wild Rift some more of your time this week.
But first, what exactly is a Soulforce Awakening when it's at home? Well, at the core is the Soulforce Box. As you collect Soulforce energy, and have the chance to earn 12 different rewards by levelling up your Soulforce Box. These include Collected Legends Card Packs, condensed ore, consumable trial cards and six special Chromas for one of the new Champions, Aurora the Witch Between Worlds.
Speaking of which, what about those new champions? Well, the aforementioned Aurora serves as a powerful mage with plenty of AP to serve as an assassin for mischief-loving players. Bard, the Wandering Caretaker, meanwhile, offers exclusive features with his Magical Journey and Tempered Fate abilities.

Finally, we've got Vel'Koz, the Eye of the Void. A Void-spawn who can serve as a long-range mage, he offers deadly plasma attacks to burst down foes.Meanwhile, in terms of existing Champions, Galio, the Colossus, and Swain have all had adjustments. Galio's Shield of Durand has had a tweak, while Swain's Demonic Ascension has also had a buff. Varus, Ashe, Zeri, Vayne and Miss Fortune have also had a few 'targeted updates' to buff up their intended playstyles. All of which offer good reasons to check in and try out these new changes!
