iPhone Watchmen MMO goes online in the US
But when is justice coming to the UK?
We’ve been avidly watching the Watchmen’s pocket gaming appearances over the last week or two, and although the mobile game struggled to thwart the evil Control System and master criminal Unoriginal Gameplay, we were definitely excited to hear all about the new hero on the block, Watchmen: Justice is Coming.
Designers of this expansive iPhone MMO, Last Legion, told our own Tracy Erickson all about the exciting blend of narrative and online play set in 1970s New York, which leads up to the events seen in the live action movie.
The movie’s only just been released, so there’s time for us to catch up with all those American heroes currently levelling themselves up in the Justice is Coming MMO. Chances are this isn’t a marketing rollout, however.
From the sounds of things, this 59p game has seen enough immediate popularity to strain the game’s servers to breaking point.
A lot of gamers have complained at server timeouts and an inability to log on and actually play, so even if Watchmen: Justice is Coming were available here in the UK, it’d be hard to recommend picking it up until some stability has been found.
