Warframe: 1999 invites you to rock out with the official launch of Techrot Encore
  • 60th Warframe Temple joins the fray
  • Fresh mission types and new characters
  • Quality-of-life improvements abound

It's been three weeks since we hyped up Warframe: 1999's Techrot Encore update, and I'm happy to say that it's finally here - get ready to sink your teeth into a new chapter of the narrative, with new characters, fresh missions types, and the 60th Warframe Temple joining the fray.

There's a lovely Atomicycle racing mini-game too for you adrenaline junkies out there, but I suppose the highlight for many would be the rockin' music tracks that go hand-in-hand with the cosmetic skins and hella cool weapons too (did I mention there are boy band boss fights?).

We've talked about what to expect from our previous coverage, which includes building relationships with Flare (Temple), Minerva (Saryn), Velimir (Frost), and Kaya (Nova) by logging into the expanded K.I.M. conversation system. Quality-of-life improvements abound as well, with reworked Pseudo Exalted Abilities, reduced Defense mission waves, and The Duviri Paradox and The Hex quest replayability.

“Getting to extend that experience in Techrot Encore with more ‘90s nostalgia, more Protoframes, more original music, and the most requested addition in recent memory, the Technocyte Coda, is just as exciting for us as it is for players," says Rebecca Ford, Creative Director.

By the way, if you're on the hunt for more freebies, why not have a look at our list of Warframe codes?
