Super Evil Megacorp has banged the gong to announce the release dates for its mobile MOBA Vainglory (yes, the one Apple showed off during its iPhone 6 event).

Yes, that's a plural on "dates". It's not launching globally, but in various stages around the world, you see.

So, here's the lowdown:

- Vainglory was released in South East Asia, Australia, and New Zealand on November 2nd.

- It will be launching in Europe on November 13th.

- Next up is North and South America, the Middle East, and Africa, which all get it on November 18th.

- Finally, Vainglory will be coming to China, Japan, and Korea at a later date yet to be announced.

You can check out AppSpy's hands-on video with Vainglory above to get familiar with it.

If you just want a quick summary, here goes. It's a free to play fantasy MOBA, meaning that it plays like League of Legends and DOTA, if you're at all familiar.

If you don't know what any of that means, just imagine a sizable arena with two teams of three players each battling it out in 20 minutes, or less, matches.

Each player has their own load out, featuring a mix of fantastical creatures, beasts, and humanoid beings. There are guns, spells, and swords being used to slaughter each other.

The winner is the team that fights their way into the enemy base and shatters their crystal known as the "Vain."

That's all there is to it. More heroes and content will be added with updates after Vainglory's release.

And you can apparently play it for an unlimited time without spending a penny on IAPs, although plenty of optional ones are on offer.
