When it first released it was immediately clear - whether or not it would be a classic to rival the card game - that Uno! Mobile was going to be a smash hit. Little surprise then that Mattel163 isn't planning to rest on their laurels as they celebrate a whopping 400 million players with a set of massive upcoming anniversary events.
To start, from now until February 22nd you'll be able to embark on the new Joyous Voyage Collection event and earn Uno cards emblazoned with postal stamp designs and stickers to showcase globe-trotting cultures. You can also earn the exclusive global-themed Uno deck by completing your collection, gathering up to 800,000 coins and more!
Not only that, but if you're hungry to jump in the Anniversary Shop has also returned and will be available until January 28th. You'll be able to swap shop tokens that are earned throughout logins and gameplay for over 300 decorations, like special card effects, match scenes and avatar frames, as well as 10 types of nostalgic rewards.
And as if that's not enough, you won't be surprised to learn that Uno! Mobile is going to be hosting yet another tournament as part of the celebrations. Starting January 21st the new Grand Slam tournament will allow players with a level of 3 and at least 1000 coins to compete, and will last all year with six battle seasons. Each season has new house rules to add an extra sprinkle of unpredictability.
The first Grand Slam season, Wild Punch, is set to run from January 21st to February 27th. You'll have the chance to win coins, Master Coins that'll unlock tournament-exclusive decorations and more, including the 3D-animated Fist Medal. And truly outstanding players who collect medals from all six seasons can be in with a chance to unlock the Grand Slam trophy and other in-game goodies.
