Ah, Undead Soccer: it's a game of two halves.

Those two halves being the top and bottom of a rotting flesh muncher you just killed with a sweetly curving left-foot screamer, mind.

If you didn't already know, Undead Soccer screamed into the top corner of the App Store net earlier in the year.

At review, we found that it had "that vital moreish appeal and just enough depth to keep you playing", and promptly gave it a Bronze Award.

Well, from May 7th, all you fans of zombie-kicking carnage will be able to get your undead, errr, kicks on your Android device.

In Undead Soccer, you play a footballer who's sent off in an important match. Because of his early expulsion, he's able to sit out the zombie apocalypse in a steam room.

By using a flick mechanic similar to the one employed in Flick Soccer, you have to clear seven differently themed stages of brain-munching monstrosities.

There are shields to collect, different styles of ball to unlock, and even ravenous zombie bosses to send crawling back to their graves with a well-placed volley.

CGMatic and Bulkypix will deftly chip Undead Soccer onto the Google Play Store exactly a week from now. It'll set you back £1.69 / $1.99.
