Tyrant's Blessing is a pixel-art RPG with random encounters and tactical battles, out now on iOS

In case you missed it, Mercury Game Studio has launched Tyrant's Blessing on iOS, letting players brave the dangers of Tyberia on their mobile device following its launch on Steam last year. The tactical RPG adventure tasks you with unleashing your inner strategist as you fight against the Undying across random encounters.

In Tyrant's Blessing, you can look forward to assembling your team among 20 heroes with their own special abilities - for instance, an archer will function best from afar, while an assassin can deal the most damage in confined spaces. You'll also have to make difficult decisions to ensure your survivaiblity, which includes managing your time and resources when it comes to random encounters. Do you avoid confrontations to fight another day, or do you face your foes head-on?

If you're keen on more nostalgic goodness, why not take a look at our list of the best retro-inspired games on iOS?

You can also make use of the environment around you to get the upper hand against your enemies, which includes kicking up dust to compromise your enemies' vision, or hiding in bushes to steer clear of your foes. You can knock your foes into obstacles, or even conjure up powerful combos and elemental attacks. All these are presented in lovely pixel-art to bring on the retro vibe.

If you're eager to join in on all the fun and give the game a go yourself, you can do so by downloading Tyrant's Blessing on the iOS App Store. It's a premium title that costs $4.99 a pop or your local equivalent.
