Papercraft puzzler Twisty Hollow is about restoring order in a topsy-turvy town
Frown at bacon
| Twisty Hollow
I think the mayor in upcoming papery puzzle game Twisty Hollow is actually Boris Johnson. Yes, I'm referring to the current golden-locked barmy mayor of London.
Seriously, it matches up.
The mayor in Twisty Hollow apparently creates rules such as having to frown at bacon, and giving fashion tips for ghosts. I can easily imagine Boris Johnson doing the same.
While this might seem like good fun, the citizens of Twisty Hollow need someone to restore order before everything goes kaputt. That's where you come in.
You have to spin wheels to line up workers with their tools and resources. So, a miner should be matched with a pick axe, and a diamond, for example.
There are much more absurd examples that are the result of the mayor's wacky requests. You might be able to spot them in the game's trailer, which you can watch above.
Other than its absurd mayor, Twisty Hollow appeals for its papercraft presentation. It's colourful and rather cute with its slightly tactile charm.
We'll see how it adds up when it comes to iOS on October 30th for £2.49 / $3.99.
An Android version will be released some time after the iOS release.
